Family Office Definition: Broker

Broker definition:  A broker sells investment securities and offers financial advice for clients. Typically, brokers are compensated with commission for transactions and offer non-discretionary accounts to clients. A Series 7 license (administered by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority – FINRA) is required of registered representatives.
