How does a family office management fee work?

by Richard C. Wilson & Family Offices Group Association Team

Question: How does a family office management fee work?

Answer: Family offices are compensated in different ways and amounts, but the family office management fee is one method for charging their clients based on the assets under management.  Assets under management (AUM) is the method by which most family offices are paid by their clients.  The client receives all-inclusive, comprehensive services and pays a set percentage based on annual asset size.
