Limited Power of Attorney definition:  A limited power of attorney is a legal document giving authority to an individual to act on your behalf temporarily. The document should detail which specific powers are given and the conditions when powers will be delegated. Limited powers expire when you are deemed incompetant or incapacitated by a medical doctor (as opposed to durable powers which do not expire).
