What is wealth management?

What is wealth management?

by Richard C. Wilson & Family Offices Group Association Team

Question: What is wealth management?

Answer: Wealth management is an essential service provided by family offices.  Wealth management is more broad in scope than exclusively offering investment advice. Investing, tax and estate planning are all offered from the same financial advisory firm.

Those services beyond financial advisory and wealth management firms are what separates these firms from family offices which will include many other services that fit the client’s unique needs.  For more on the differences between family offices and wealth management firms, see this related article.
